Hi all, I am really tempted to buy the plane, but am somewhat disturbed by the "VC panel has taken over..." thingy. Hey, I

2D & V/C panel in 1600*1200*32 res........... before I shrunk it. I'm a VC fan, but find my self using the 2D panel much of the time also! Must have gotten use to them again with X-Plane... :D L.Adamson

Thanks Larry, they sure do look good!Checking the budget with the spouse tomorrow, maybe if I

HI Uwe,As you see from Larry's nice screeshots, the VC panel is as clear (at the same zoom level) as the 2d panel. Not only that but the glass effect on the gauge faces is exactly the same. We didn't make this VC for occasional flying. We hope that uses will now almost exclusively fly in virtual mode, but of course if you choose not to, the 3d panel is crystal clear too. The only remaining challenge for VC cockpits in this regard is for MS to release the FS2004 SDK so we can all have throttle and prop/mixture controls working in VC mode.Regards,Rob Young - RealAir Simulations
