Thanks, Jim. Finally got it straightened out. Uninstalled SP1 and then reinstalled 1 and 2 - now OK.Thanks for the suggestions. I should have read the bit in some tweak guide or the other about how to UNinstall FSX. There is definitely a correct way to do that.FSX has given me a lot of pleasure, but along with a lot of heartburn too.
