April 3, 201115 yr Let me extend OP thoughts I would suggest a failure system based on hours and type of use. If for example you get a new B738 out of Everett and you start turn on and off the electrical HYD pump 20-30 time per minute, connect and disconnect the left generator to the bus 15 times per minutes, then most probably some damage would appear.
