Up and running on the first try LOL!So far I've changed to ACHI in bios, set the ddr voltage to 1.5 (per spec), set the timings to correct, and set the memory to 1866.I've set date and time too. Anything else I need to do?EDIT: nevermind looks like I have an issue with the blue ray reader... or something else... I'll try swapping out optical drives...Here's the error message (HELP)edit again: dang it im screwed I don't have another sata optical drive... no ide on my mobo either :( Great....

And edit the edit, again...I just walked away to pick up my daughter, came back, 10 min later it was on the Win 7 installation screen.... lol!Somehow it worked itself out! *whew* Installation in progress...

Nevermind again... I got to the part where installation expands the Windows files and then it give me an error, something about part of the installation missing *sigh*I guess I'll have to go out to Best buy and try a sata burner.... uuugh

In case anyone reads this I'm writing from my new rig... there was an initial setup problem with the blu ray burner... apparently it needed some drivers from windows to work properly. I'm still in the process of rearanging my desk furniture to accomodate the beast :)Pics and info to follow!
