Addons to FSX that have some form of panel state saved?

Featured Replies

I know that Level D and PMDG have some really effective methods of saving panel states in some of their aircraft, that allows us to save an inflight situation and come back at a later time to retrieve the flight in FSX with (it seems perfect) fidelity to the previous saved session.I’m aware that the much more simplistic FSX stock aircraft can also be saved in flight- due to the lack of complex systems that have little in panel-state to save, nor in the setting of avionics and/or systems. What I’m wondering is, apart from the Level D and PMDG planes that I know about, are there any other add-ons that offer complex system and/or avionics/navigation equipment that also save panel states so that a flight can be “reasonably” resumed at a later date? Thanks, Bruce

Thanks Jay,I do have the QW B757 SP2, I must read the manual again! I know that long haul planes have perhaps a more need for panel save, but when FSX time is limited to less than 30 minutes daily, being able to retrieve the panel state in something not as big is cool! Thanks, Bruce.

Just go to the Index page of the FMC, you will see the PNL options.

Thanks Jay, will do. The QW bird is very immersive for me, so I'm glad that it's worked out that I can also save panel states! Thanks, Bruce.
