Hey Everyone,I am looking to find out what you think of the below system. I've not been using a desktop for some time now & think it's high time to get one!I am on a fairly tight budget of about R9000 (=$1285) which is what the below costs.Let me know what you think..GIGABYTE Luxo X142 - ATX ChassisCoolermaster V8LG E2240T 21.5 Wide HD LED MonitorWestern Digital Caviar Black 640gb SATA IIIAsus ENGT440 1GD5Mushkin 1333MHz DDR3 6GB Silverline Low-Voltage Triple Channel 3x2GBIntel P67BA Buffalo Flat LGA1155Intel Core i5 2500KCoolermaster RS650-ACAAE3 GX 650w PSU& the associated other bits & bobs (mouse, kb, windows 7 64bit)Thanks for taking the time to check this post out!Greg

At first glance I would say replace that V8 with the hyper 212+, cheaper and just as good if not better. I think as far as GPU you should go with a minimum of a GTX 460 even if it's a 768MB, but with a bigger monitor and resolution you should splurge and get the 1Gb.http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121390&cm_re=gtx_460_768mb-_-14-121-390-_-ProductI'm guessing the rest should be fine.

That's a dual channel CPU, so get 2x2 or 2x4GB of RAM. 4GB of 1600 CL7 is usually good for the price
