The video at the top of the page has some edited cockpit audio on top KMSY images.Unfortunately, he was forced to land on the short runway due to equipment on the longer one. April 5, 201115 yr He went off the side of the runway due to loss of nosewheel steering. While the extra runway length would have been comforting, it doesn't look like he needed it.The wind was from 180 at 15-to-20, I believe. So, landing on rwy 19 where he did was probably the better choice, even if it was shorter.
