Changing Navigation and Strobe Lights

Featured Replies

I'm thinking about modifying the navigation and strobe lights for the Level-D 767. I have edited the aircraft.cfg to change the beacon light, but with the flexing wings, it is not as simple for the strobes and navigation lights on the wings.Has anyone tried this yet? :( and with any success?I believe the Level-D 767 shares some default lights, but that was something I read in the A2A 3d light redux forum a while back. I'm going to continue my search for more information before I start. :(

Have you tried,gauge42=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave lightin the panel.cfg file? You still may have to turn the nose light off manually. There is no config file solution for the wing flex strobe because Level D hard code it internally, however they do use their own effects file which is where my solution comes in. Backup the LVLD_strobe.fx effects file in the FSX Effects folder. Rename a *copy* of the fx_shockwave_strobe.fx file to LVLD_strobe.fx and you're done!I don't think there's a solution for the wing nav lights however.Mark
I found the old post I did on the A2A forums. I'll see what happen with the navigation lights... :(

Even though this is the UNOFFICIAL forum, and no support for the Level-D 767 is provided here, I will nip this in the bud by saying: it is NOT possible to alter the wing lights to the Level-D 767 as they are part of the MODEL. Our lights are embedded in the MODEL so that they display correctly with wing flex.
