For 30 years, Flight Sim enthusiasts have enjoyed flying at home, and it’s of no surprise that a booming industry has grown around it. With the UK computer Games industry now worth more to the economy than the film industry, this event offers to showcase the brightest and best British computing talent has to offer. With over 40 exhibitors due to attend, this year promises to be our best ever. Taking place over the weekend of the 14th & 15 th of May, The Flight Sim Convention Weston will be open for press on the 13th, with the show getting under way at 9.30 on Saturday the 14th, and closing again at 5.30 on the Sunday. The Saturday promises something different as the museum comes alive at night with the sounds of the 60's & 70’s disco, all to tie in with this year’s theme ‘the Vietnam war’. Expect G.I.’s mixing with the Vietcong or even Shaft! Best of all, any money raised over the weekend will be used entirely for charity as we’re a not for profit show. By supporting both the Air ambulance and the museum itself, It’s great to know that Virtual pilots help keep real aircraft in the air to save lives.
