yeah, and of course I give the camera to my son to take pictures inside the plane... Oops.. He forgot.. Oh well, next time. I agree, Eisenhower's Connie is one sweet bird.I just can't ever imagine why everyone back then enjoyed that aweful orange color..... Hi Cookie,I'll be happy to. It is a Fuji Finepix 4900z Digital Camera with a 128mb Smart Media Memory card, same as my MP3 Players. It has 6x Optical Zoom, and 440x Digital Zoom. Auto and Manual Focus, 4.3 Megapixel images off of a 2.4 Megapixel SuperCCD, full manual exposure options, built in flash, plus a hotshoe, and a kitchen sink.Max Res is 2400 x 1800 which is plenty, and I paid US $849 for it when I bought it. I have taken over 5600 Pictures since Feb, 2001 when I bought it. This particular model has been phased out with a newer similar higher output model raplacing it.I will never go back to SLR's, I think I've saved over $2000 in film and developing since I bought it, and I put the photo's on CDR's and send them out at Christmas to family. I print the photos out occasionally on my HP Photosmart 1215, and I am pleased with the quality. Hey Joe,Did they have an statistics on what the monitary worth is of all the craft located there (specially once they were brand new)? I'd bet it'd run in the hundreds of billions. Hi Elrond,Great question. But no, they didn't estimate. They did say that as an example, they pay about 4 million per aircraft, and end up selling out for about 28 million, so they turn a pretty good profit at that place on a per plane basis. In addition, they estimated about 21% of the aircraft that come in there actually end up flying again. Very cool. Sonar5, Great pictures of the Pima Air Museum. When I last visited it back in the late 70s while stationed at Luke AFB outside of Phoenix, they only had outdoor displays and the YC-14 and YC-15 were just added to the inventory after President Carter cancelled the project looking for new cargo aircraft.
