April 13, 201115 yr Is there anyway to make the external power switch work? I'd like to be able to setup the radios, GPS, etc without burning fuel.
April 13, 201115 yr [electrical]electric_always_available = 0set to =1 in the aircraft.cfg could help.I have the FSUIPC set to unlimited battery, but this above setting could do the same for you without the need to buy the registered FSUIPC.

I know Carenado is a bit newer to the turbine powered territory so I wouldn't expect the bells and whistles like this but it might be nice to add to later projects especially the C90 (or retrofit it to the C208). Hehe nobody likes to drain the plane's battery sitting there on the ground inputting all the flight data or even worse burning the Jet A and doing the same thing!

Furthermore renting a GPU for even 30min isn't for free. You need staff to move it etc....Doesn't make much sense to implement this feature.
