May 2, 201115 yr Tried upgrading my graphics drivers as it said (unless I missed something), but still got the CTD.I've had this CTD before. It comes and goes. Uninstalling/reinstalling video card drivers seems to work. The best way I have seen to uninstall your display drivers is to go into the Device Manager, click on Display Adapters, then double-click on the video card (if you have two cards in SLI mode, uninstalling one will uninstall everything). Under Properties, click on the Driver Tab and then Uninstall. When the screen comes up for you to confirm, check the box stating "delete the driver software for this device". This is important as it should delete all remnants of your display drivers from the OS (but not the installation program under C:/NVIDIA). After the uninstall is complete, I restart Windows and then reinstall the display drivers. When you reinstall, make sure the Windows UAC is disabled and any anti-virus software just to make sure they don't have any settings that could corrupt your driver installation. Hope this helps.Best regards,Jim

Latest drivers270 onwards it is not necessary. You can just re-install. I have not yet had a problem after fresh install of drivers
