Gents,Does anyone know if there is a new procesor or MOBO in the horizon, coming soon to a store near you (and meee)? Is the bulldozer out yet? Any other CPU besides Sandy that will be coming in the near future that will be able to improve our FSX perormance? Or is it too soon yet, since we just got the Sandys?Johnny

Aside from Bulldozer, not any time soon. Sandy Bridge E (Socket 2011) will come out Q4 2011 and Ivy Bridge (for socket 1155) will come out Q1 2012. If you're rocking socket 775, I would say now is the time to upgrade!

The sucessor of SB, Ivy Bridge, is planned for Q1 2012. But not many facts are out yet. So it´s kind of speculating whether it´ll be something for FS.

I´ll upgrade, for sure. But on the other hand I like my stable 775.
