April 28, 201115 yr Looks good. I would use the one 150GB VelociRaptor for the OS, a second 150GB VelociRaptor for FSX, and the 1.3 VelociRaptor for file storage. Your OS doesn't need more than about 30 gig, unless you're using it for storage: (but doing this has it's own problems). There are programs that are fine on the C: drive and so the additional space will get good use.FSX likes it's own drive, you do not want it fighting the OS, and a small one is easy to defrag and keep tidy: lastly a large third drive will hold all the other files needed - like REX backup of the original textures, source files and temp files, backup files, all the files you unzip, prior to installing in the FS, etc..Yep - lots of folks stable at 5.0.I use water, because I needed it for the i7-95 at 4.449 gig. I'm not sure what I would recommend for the SB, as I just transferred the cooling system to the new proc. It runs at 14 - 20C at idle and 45 - 54 at 100% IBT or LinX. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
