GTX 470 O/C causes me to crash? I think..

Featured Replies

I have this theory that my GTX 470 when I o/c it with MSI afterburner it crashes,.. I have no proof yet, but I think so... problem is, I can't remember what the out of the box default values/non overclocked settings should be and no hitting reset doesn't do it.can anyone help me out here?thanksBrian S

Ciao!

Perhaps this link will help: http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_gtx_470_us.html (specifications show default values). What model (Zotac, Inno3D, EVGA, NVIDIA?)? Does it have 1280MB? There are a lot of websites relating to overclocking this video card and suspect you have already visited many but, just in case, here's one site: http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/inno3d_gtx470_hawk/. I'm not into overclocking the video card as it is pretty powerful already and FSX is more CPU/Core Intensive.Best regards,Jim
