May 8, 201115 yr Just wondering how to translate coordinates for a navaid in one form to another. Example: Flightsim 2004 has the format N42*14.8 W70*53.35Online at some sites they have a format of (and this is for a different navaid): Lat/Long: 42-29-41.900N / 071-33-12.270WHow would you change the second format to that of the first? The reason I ask is that I'm trying to add navaids to into my FMC. Thanks,Chris Porter

May 8, 201115 yr You may find a tool you like better since there are a lot of them on the web but this one will work.GPS Coordinate ConverterPlug the numbers of your second example (42 29' 41.9", etc.) into the "Degrees Minutes Seconds" boxes of the top converter and you will get the values you want in "Deg Min" format (42 29.6983'). May 8, 201115 yr Author Thanks, With the PMDG 737 FMC all I had to do was input the navaid and coordinates and put down the Fix's for the approaches in the Text file for that airport (or any airport text file for that matter). It was great having the FMC match up with the charts.Chris Porter
