On landing can I select a gate through AES? Or do I have to call ground and have them assign me one, then in the aes menu select follow me car? I want to go to specific gates at airports, can AES do this?

After you land, you can ask AES to dispatch a "follow me" truck to guide you to the gate of your choosing.

AES can not designate a gate to you. The ATC will designate the gate to your aircraft but AES can guide you to it using it's smart 'Follow me' vehicle. That being said, AES can not read ATC instructions. Therefore, it relies on the user to inform AES on what gate the aircraft has been assigned. So in a way, if you do not like the gate you've been assigned by the ATC, you can choose a different one through AES 'follow me' options and the vehicle will guide you to that particular gate.Cheers,
