Blocky Coast

Featured Replies

Hey GuysIve run into a bit of a problem, after installing some aeroworx scenery for South Africa - my coast turned all blocky :( Im quite sure that this happened after i installed the mesh, but i removed the files and the coast is still like this ? Ive tried installing new landclass which also didnt work? Does anybody know a fix for this or a method to repair ? I rather not uninstall the flight sim if i dont have to...but yeah its really bothering me! Oh also, this issue is only in South Africa. Thanks very much guysblockycoast.jpg

Is indeed something you installed, but removed the wrong way ?Say it also with UT europe. Reinstall, en disable, and remove again.

Generally, landclass blg and hydro poly bgl must be present and match to prevent this. Unless something really strange happened, you should never lose the scenery\base\scenery\ worldlc.bgl default landclass. With worldlc.bgl present, you should have coastlines when the default hydro poly is present in scenery\afri\scenery and there are no higher priority scenery folders that exclude the hydro polys.I you have any addon landclass or hydro polys, they must be compatible with each other. Sometimes if you look closely you can see shoreline textures crossing land or water areas, and this is a tip that there are addon files present.scott s..
