I have an ATI 5770, see signature below for all specs, that works great in fair weather but as many posts say, works terribly in the weather. I have installed all the tweaks. I really like the graphics you get with Orbix PNW and Rex 2. I enjoy flying in my local weather conditions and living in Washington State, you can imagine I have just a few cloudy days. I also enjoy using Eyefinity and TrackIR5. That all said, the 5770 works quite well on clear days. I have no issues running all 3 monitors on Eyefinity and keep a good frame rate around 30 which I have limited. Now you add some weather and it is terrible with 3 monitors and not much better if I switch the resolution to 1 monitor. It is not the best experience nor what I would expect for this system. This card is left over from my previous AMD system. I know that FSX prefers nVidia cards but I truly enjoy the Eyefinity experience. I understand that you can do this with nVidia cards if you use 2 cards in SLI. Has anyone done this? I am open to other suggestions except for the Matrox. That and a 580 will cost around $800 and that is more than I would like to spend. 1 or 2 560's or 460's would probably be a good investment. The only other consideration might be to wait if nVidia has a single card multiple monitor solution. Please let me know if anyone has heard of that on the horizon. Thanks for the input.

I would get rid of the XFX 5770, PRONTO, Pistolero!Get one of these instead, they are 2 Gb cards, this is needed for the 3 monitors:http://www.guru3d.co...tcu-ii-review/1http://www.guru3d.co...ighting-review/I´m considering Eyefinity myself, and I sure hope the new AMD cards perform a little better with clouds, I hope, I surely hope...Matrox is out of the question for me too, way too expensive where I live (Asia).PS: Before you buy another Nvidia card, check if your Mobo has the PCI x16 for two cards, not sure about that...

The nvidia gtx 590 is a single card that supports 3 monitors, though it is a dual GPU card and ghastly expensive. Also, as you probably know SLI does little for FSX unless it's used to push huge resolutions while using high levels of AA, which might be the case for a 3 monitor setup (but I can't say for sure.) BTW, that 590 is essentially a single card SLI. I love my gtx 560 ti for a single monitor. I use the REX 2 weather generator and nothing it generates chokes FSX, using max cloud density at 90 mi range.
