They stated (to one of the DEVs and PMDG no less) that they will no longer support FSX in anyway. Ive an no issues at all with Nvidia. I have the GTX460 atm and its really no trouble at all. June 24, 201114 yr That's a rather odd pairing, are those GPUs the same price? They really shouldn't be, the Nvidia card is much slower (though not for FSX). Can you wait and get a better NV GPU, say at least a GTS 450?
June 24, 201114 yr Author Thanks a lot both of you guys for your advice and info. The initial card I had was the ATI Radeon one, but recently I was given a second hand computer with the nvidia, so that´s why i was wandering if i should replace the ATI Radeon with the nvidia. I tried it to be honest and the results were not bad at all.I know that neither of them is "state of the art" for today´s standards and I plan to buy soon a good one (an nVidia one) but i was just wondering what to do in the meanwhile. Thanks a lot both of youNek
June 25, 201114 yr Ah, I see, I assumed you were looking to purchase a card when in fact you already own both. The Nvidia card should be better for flight sim, though the ATi card would be better for just about anything else.
