ENB mod with an Nvidia card?

Featured Replies

Having just moved to FSX I'm having some problems getting my beloved ENB mod to work with this sim. Seems that no matter what I try, the aircraft preview screen is black once FSX is loaaded, then the sim either CDT's, or if it loads the screen remains black, although all sounds play.I've tried various different drivers for my GTX 280, various different configs for the mod, anti-aliasing on/off, multi mointors connected/disconnected.....nothing seems to work. Real shame as having used it for years in FS2004, it has become an essential bit of kit for me. Any suggestions are welcome!New sim; new world of problems :(

I just converted to a GTX 460 after years of ATI cards and am running the latest Nvidia drivers with Inspector using Nick N's settings.http://www.simforums.com/forums/nhancer-settings-for-new-drivers-updated-v1932_topic36586.htmlI have no problems with the ENB mod and think I am using the one from John Venema of Orbx. I can send it to you if you like.Cheers,Todd

Just figured it out. For some reason if i have EGVA Precision running, it will crash. Bit of a shame as this means I can't use my custom fan profiles, but at least it's working.

Clum,I am using the EVGA applet also but I have no issues running on Win 7 64 bit. I am using an older version of this applet and have refused to upgrade it when it asks before it runs. Not sure what version you are using but if it is the newest, see if you can find an older version.Just a thought.Bob
