July 5, 201114 yr Maybe someone here will be able to help. I am running Windows 7 and FSX Acceleration. I can load and fly any jet, or turboprop but the Recip engines won’t start or run. I’ve searched Avsim and I’ve tried the fuel selector and filling the tanks, but nothing seems to work. I have changed the starter torque and still no start using the starter or CONT+E. I have CH Products USB yoke and rudder peddles installed. This has happened to two different computers. I have removed all third party addons and things still won’t work. I have deleated my FSX CFG file and still nothing. The last time I had to reinstall FSX. If I remember correctly, my last flight was using the default FSX Goose and I shut down the engines using the mixture on the yoke before exiting FSX. Any help would be appreciated. Hope this is in the right place now; sorry I posted in wrong place.
July 5, 201114 yr Do you have fuel in the tanks? Maybe a dumb question, but I haave done that (and more than once...)Cheers,- jahman.
July 5, 201114 yr A lot of 'startup' information is taken from the default flight. If you are not using the original default flight, you might try using that (again) and see if it runs ok and then if newly created flights work ok afterwards.Loyd Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
