Solren,Just clone the drive on a larger hard drive with a program such as Acronis and away you go.

Use the Disk Compression feature in Windows. No performance issues will be had.

If it's add-ons that are causing the "shrinking", you could always just use another disk for additional space. I think I have add-ons spread across three different hard drives. May be easier than transferring FSX to a new disk... maybe not. Clutch
