July 11, 201114 yr Moderator Hi guysIv noticed that the localiser for runway 19L (110.30/183)at airport DNMM does not line up correctly with the runway.I have AFX (Flight1).Can someone please wlk me through adjusting the localiser?Thank you for your help. The problem is that there are two Localizers installed (one at each end) for both runways. All of them are set for "Backcourse Enable" which is truly confusing everything!I have no experience with AFX (not when the freeware ADE9X is so much more powerful), but to correct the problem(s) edit all four localizers and disable the Backcourse option. July 11, 201114 yr Can someone please wlk me through adjusting the localiser?AFX will take of this just fine. Start the program and enter the code (DNMM) and let AFX search if you are using the default file or an add on file. If just one choice appears then double-click it to open the file.Press the letter A to have the nav aids highlighted. You'll see two ILS "feathers", one on each end of runway 1R. The runway is set for heading 359.8 and neither of the ILS matches. Move your mouse to the edge of the ILS father at the bottom and right-click and select Properties. This brings up a window with the settings and you can change 19L to 179.8 fro m it's current 180.8. You will probably want to reposition the feather just a litle bit to be centered. You can take the opportunity to do the same for the top feather, which is set at 359.7. Center just a tad.Save the file under a new name, make sure it's in or copied to an active scenery layer within FSX and go check the results of your work.
