July 13, 201114 yr I know this isn't the right forum but no one is on the 747-400 one. I have Win 7 Professional. I am trying to install the PMDG 747-400. I extracted the files and when I run the setup I get a message saying, "Installation cannot continue. Your registry does not show a valid FSX installation location" I only have FSX not FS9. This is REALLY getting on my nerves. I just spent $55 on this addon and I want to use it. Thanks in advance... THE GR8 MIKE
July 13, 201114 yr Try downloading flight 1's free registration fix tool. That might sort it out Gavin Price
July 13, 201114 yr Commercial Member This issue is probably occurring because your FS entries are missing from the Windows registry. Please download Flight 1's Registry Repair Tool found here:http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=libraryRun it (IMPORTANT: make sure you right click and choose Run As Administrator if you're using Windows Vista or Windows 7) and select the option appropriate to the version of FS you're having issues with. Then, browse to that version of FS's folder and select the main exe file (either FS9.exe or FSX.exe) and press open. This should resolve your issue, let us know if it doesn't.(Please sign your name to your posts please, it's a forum rule) Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

July 13, 201114 yr Commercial Member You're positive you used the run as administrator command? It will not work without that in Windows 7. Why would you choose the FS9 option if you only have FSX? Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
