July 19, 201114 yr Can anyone from PMDG comment on whether or not the new 737 NGX software will be compatible with the new VR Insight MCP Combo II??http://www.vrinsight.com/public_html/index.php?module=Board&action=SiteBoard_1&iBrdNo=30&sMode=SELECT_FORMThanks!Phil
July 19, 201114 yr While I can only speculate, I suspect it will be the good old SDK issue. Whenever the hardware vendor opts to make use of the SDK, it should be compatible. Outta the box - highly doubt it.
July 19, 201114 yr aha, so vrinsight has released another mcpcombo. i had rather hoped they would have invested in improving their existing releases by updating their serialf2p software, which leaves much to be desired, but instead they jump to another device yet again. Luckily LINDA has been released recently. Antoine v Heck --- Ryzen 5800X3D, 32Gb DDR4 RAM@1600 Mhz, RTX3090 (24GB VRAM). 2TB SSD - VR with Quest 2 via link cable
July 19, 201114 yr Commercial Member The NGX is not natively compatible with ANY custom hardware - the SDK will need to be used to program compatible drivers - this is up to the hardware makers, there is no way we can do this ourselves. There's probably a good reason though... I guess
