fsx stop during terrain load

Featured Replies

I just installed TileProxy. I started FSX with SP 1 (I don't have Acceleration). TP seemd to be running ok. Then I changed from Chicago to Morristown. It noticed the location change, but then didn't do anything. I then started FSX. It said loading terrain, then froze at 39%. I left and came back to find the machine completely locked up. This is Win 7 Premium 64 bit.

I renamed fsx.cfg to a backup file and started fsx without TP running. This seems to have cleared up the problem. Then I took my original fsx and renamed it so it would be used and started everything up, seems to be working now.

I noticed that on occasion, when I moved too far while TP was running, it didn't make the transition with me...Since TP begins loading based on the default flight location before actually starting a flight, I got in the habit of going to the new location (without TP) and saving a flight there and making it the default so TP would start there and not in Friday Harbor or wherever my previous default was.Loyd

Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
