Harrier v2.55 patch

Featured Replies

HiI D/L'ed the IRIS Harrier and the appropriate rcb VTOL gauges (rcbhcd10.zip). The thing is, the rcb readme says that I need the Harrier v2.55 patch. Where is it? I looked on avsim but all I could find were repaints :blink:Also, when I tried to use the rcb gauges with the unpatched Harrier, the hover system does not work. I tried a VTOL takeoff, but the Harrier just would not lift off the ground. I lowered the weight, fuel, everything--the Harrier just did not want to hover or take off vertically. Any tips?

Hi,Ooops.. that's a long time ago.As far as I can recall, the V2.55 patch only solved a contact-point problem (minor issue). So that doesn't explain why the VTOL doesn't work.Since you already decreased weight (to below 21000 lbs): you DO have a working FSUIPC installed ???Rob

Hi Squarkvfr..If you like the Harrier, try the 'Italian Navy Pilots' model - also freeware. It is a beaut. Nice panel, too. Google for 'harrier-av8b-4fsx.zip'. I'm waiting for a suitable UK repaint.Rob is correct - vertical take offs with his gauges require Pete's Dowson's FSUIPC4 to be installed...and Rob..thanks again for your invaluable contribution to all these FS Harriers - your gauges are absolutely brilliant !:( Without your contribution, I doubt whether we would have VTO aircraft !RegardsBillC0.9 nm SW R03 EGOW

I do. I have FSUIPC 3.70 unregistered

The newest FS2004 FSUIPC is FSUIPC 3.70. You might be in the wrong thread.
