Hello Guys,I'am about to buy new Laptop and this is the specifications:>Intel® Core™ i7-2820QM Processor 2.30GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.40GHz, Intel® HM65 Express Chipset, 8 MB (L3 Cache)>Genuine Windows® 7 Ultimate 64-bit>3D model (240fps, 2D/3D conversion, Disparity control)>16 inch wide (Full HD: 1920x1080) TFT colour display (VAIO Display Premium, LED backlight)>NVIDIA® GeForc® GT 540M GPU with CUDA™ Technology, 1 GB DDR3>HDD: 640 GB (Serial ATA, 7200 rpm)>8 GB (4 GB x 2) DDR3 SDRAM*2 (Max), 1333 MT/sI know that the desktop computer better and I got the chance to upgrade it but I want computer to take it with me not just at home.is this Laptop will be good for FSX?, and would like to mention that the add-ons I used with FSX not like scenery adds but I use like X-Graphics, Active-Sky X, and Airplanes from CaptainSim, Precisionmanuals, Commerciallevel, Carenado, RealAir Duke, Flight1 Mustang.give any suggestion, Advise. appreciate your help

Abdulla --The title of this post should be something like *Will this lap top be adequate for FSX?* This forum gets numerous posts almost daily on questions for a new pc for FSX, but you're lap top question is a bit different and may draw more attention. I don't know if you can edit the title, but I would try. The top posters here are maybe a bit tired of the standard help me with a new FSX computer post. Your lap top question should be posted as such. Just a thought. You can also do a search of this forum for FSX Lap Top or similar. Just trying to help!!Bruce

Hi, Sorry about the Title & I know that there are questions like mine, but I need to know if these Specifications good to run fsx without problems or not and not all the questions are the same cause the "Spec" not the same from PC to another.Thanx a lotAbdulla

With turbo enabled it will be decent. Don't expect 30 fps in big cities with that payware though. I'd imagine 15-20.

I'm not sure about the GPU. The GT 540M is not a great gaming card, even for a laptop

yeah, BTW what is the best brand for DESKTOP computer?cause maybe in the near future I'll get one and I prefer one good brand?

To run FSX well with high settings you'll want a faster GPU like a 560/570/580 (m). If you're fine using lower settings then the system you've picked out will do nicely.
