July 28, 201114 yr I know that this might be putting the cart before the horse, but I was just wondering since Boeing as all but confirmed a new engine option to compete with the A320NEO. July 28, 201114 yr Ask this question in 2017 because only then this aircraft will be ready for service. It is not only the engine, also the wing and the landing gear have to be modified. Michael J.
