This is getting annoying...It RARELY Happens but when it does it drives me nuts because it takes any realism out of the flight completely. It has happened once when I was approaching ATL from Seattle and now it has happened again approaching LAX from SFO....ATC will say "because of traffic saturation" I will have to be placed in a hold and since Otto had the controls in both situations I had no choice but to go with Delay Vectors...HOWEVER the only vectors they give are a complete 180 degree turn and it seems that they will fly me all the way back to my airport of origin, in this case SFO with an occasional altimeter check from ATC. The only thing to do is turn the plane around again and just land at the airport without any ATC...Why does RC do this? I haven't missed a check point because I gave Otto the controls almost immediately after takeoff and LAX was my last waypoint and that was the only one left.

you could try turning holding off the delay vectors are very specific. if you fly them exactly as directed, you'll make 1, 2 rarely 3 circuits, and be cleared in. if you don't follow the headings, you'll never get cleared in i guess you can't duplicate it, but with a log, i could tell what part of the delay vector you're busting, and not getting credit for jd
