August 4, 201114 yr Hello friends! I have been a fan of WoAI, I had all they packages. Then I lost my hard disk and I lost FSX and all it´s add-ons. I thought that my simming days are over, but now I am about to re-install FSX and will install sceneries little by little but don´t know what to do with the traffic. So here are my questions: - What was it that I should do with the default traffic (I want to get rid of the phantasy airliners and want to have right registers for the general aviation)?- Is there a way to d/l all WoAI packages in one file?- If I find it too hard to d/l individually all those 500+ packages, I might go to UT2. How is it compared to WoAI? Does it really cover the whole world and also the regional and local airfields? What abou visuals and fps? Thank you for helping me. kiki
August 4, 201114 yr Hi, 1. Remove the traffic.bgl file in your scenery/world/scenery folder. 2. No, it would be too huge and impossible to update.
August 4, 201114 yr Hey i totally understand ur problem i actually have all the airliner/cargo/GA packages from WOAI since their most recent update. No military or ceased airlines though but if u want some help just message me

Almost all of your saved files can be found at WOAI.

August 5, 201114 yr Author Thanks for your answers and all the help, friends. Any comments on the UT2?
August 5, 201114 yr How would you send such a huge file without using a server?file-hosting sites... just group them together by traffic type in one zip file (around 300mb each) and upload
August 6, 201114 yr Author Thanks, NeXuS! Downloading now. Flight simmers, always ready to help each other.
August 6, 201114 yr Any comments on the UT2? Can't recommend it strongly enough. Love it! I like that the AI commercial airliners actually fly the airways instead of simply DTOing all the time. Now you really have to pay attention to vertical separation if you're flying routes. Most of the models used are from AI Aardvark so, despite their visual quality, the traffic has very little impact on frames. Most of the world's airlines are used, but some are not. That's where WOAI comes in handy. You can implement WOAI traffic into Ultimate Traffic II using the UT Power Pack v2, or you can manually install WOAI traffic into FSX itself - your choice. A tip about installing AI traffic: This may be obvious, but it has helped me tremendously. With the exception of Ultimate Traffic II's traffic, once I've converted all the flight plan .bgls and installed all the AI traffic and airports/AFCADS I'm going to use in FSX, which amounts to a lot, I'd copy and back up to a safe location all the AI and airport related .bgls in: > FSX\Addon Scenery\Scenery *and* Texture folders> FSX\Scenery\Global\Scenery *and* JFK_Jetway.dds and JFK_Jetway_LM.dds in the Texture folder (once you've copied them over from the FSX\Scenery\NAME\Texture folder, that is)> FSX\Scenery\World\Scenery folder As well as doing the same for the AI planes: > FSX\SimObjects\AI Aircraft I actually use five different folders in the SimObjects folder to install AI aircraft, separated by category. With the amount of AI used it just makes things more organized. I also copy and save to a .txt file the AI folder registrations entered in FSX.cfg: [Main]..SimObjectPaths.6=SimObjects\UT2 AircraftSimObjectPaths.7=SimObjects\AIBizjetsSimObjectPaths.8=SimObjects\AICargoAirlinersSimObjectPaths.9=SimObjects\AIGeneralAviationSimObjectPaths.10=SimObjects\AIMilitarySimObjectPaths.11=SimObjects\AIPaxAirliners When backing everything up, I copy them to the same folder paths as is within FSX, rooted to FSX main folder. So, if I need to reinstall everything all I need to do is simply copy and paste one folder, and voila! All my airports, AFCADS, and AI traffic is installed in one fell swoop, saving me literally hours of converting .bgls and installing everything separately. Ultimate Traffic II takes care of itself and runs in it's own world, so to speak, so it helps that I don't have to worry manual backups there.
