  1. Hence the reason i refrained from naming names. Didnt intend to get you scolded Jskorna
  2. this 4th ai group has a name that rhymes with the Dr Seuse character who "Hears a Who "
  3. the character "Heard a Who"
  4. The 4th is a group whose name rhymes with a certain character of Dr. Seuse
  5. wow all three of them? shoot. You forgot a forth (i like the way you did that)
  6. Time to enter the ring *ding* *ding* :-D Seriously though, its amazing how many of you sat here complaining all week about the WOAI decision to EVENTUALLY pull their packages from avsim and flightsim. Could've used that time to download all of their packages tsk tsk. I cant really say I'm surprised by their decision to close shop. I've been a user of all of their work since 2008 and eagerly waited each month for the next batch of 4 airlines to be covered....those were good times. The last 2 years though showed a great reduction in output to the point where i was beginning to notice a lack of anything new for months on end. So with this weeks news I'm saddened to see them go, but to my fellow simmers WOAI is not the only group doing this. They stopped having the most comprehensive/up to date packages for about a year now. A serious internet search would show you what i mean. And I'm talking about freeware ai packaged into excecutables. To abide by avsim rules I'm going to play it safe and refrain from using particular group names in case some of their work is done by copyright infringement (idk honestly but since I've never seen anyone on here reference them before I don't want to start something). Anyway the point of that was to say that while we will soon lose another great contributor to the fs freeware world there are still others toiling away in the background making great freeware for us that a decent internet search will lead you to.
  7. So you went from ati to nvidia right? Have you tried to do a driver sweep after uninstalling ati drivers? They are notorious for leaving behind debris even after "uninstallation" and can cause driver display conflicts once you switch over to nvidia. Good luck with things
  8. It should be pointed out to anyone not aware that WOAI never made any of those models themselves. They only had permission to repackage them and put it all in an installer, so if they close shop its only responsible to ask that all the data they've uploaded be pulled. Regardless of how spiteful and pointless it may seem their actions are based on principal. Also for those of you still wanting more up to date freeware ai via installers and easy to use searches, you need only use Google. Not going to list names but I stopped stocking up on WOAI packs when they started slowing down output and searched around for other groups. One just released a comprehensive pack in April 2012 and has another planned release this coming January so they're definitely out there still
  9. Yeah that should work - ive done something similar to trick FS9 into using all 4 runways at KJFK. Try googling "afcad star technique" for fs2004/fs9 there are loads of tutorials on it.
  10. Do you mean specifically for Flight? You could just watch FSX videos - especially as FLIGHT is much less comprehensive anyway so a FSX vid would cover loads that should help you in FLIGHT
  11. if you want to cheat just use the L button to turn on all lights lol
  12. Are your fuel switches already enabled when you start the engines? In other words do you simply turn the ignition and the engine fires up, or do you turn the ignition then wait for the engine to reach around 22% N1 then turn on the fuel pumps? The latter is a better idea
  13. alt+ent switches between windowed and full-screen mode
  14. Howd you know it was egbb-kewr? Anyway yeah that is odd but maybe there is a middle destination coded in the flightplan that doesn't show up
  15. Project Opensky 737 series should do and there are forums all over the place that will describe how to make it work properly with fsx (as it was modeled for fs2004) http://www.freeskyproject.com/files/category/29-737-800/ on the left side are the model and base packages and everything else you see are repaints
  16. file-hosting sites... just group them together by traffic type in one zip file (around 300mb each) and upload
  17. You should check out world_of_ai.com - they have hundreds of airlines and update the packages on a monthly basis. Downloading all the packages can be tedious but it is totally worth it. The installer on their website will put everything where it need to be and the instructions are pretty much straight forward.
  18. How did you update your BIOS? Did you use an FAT32 formatted USB or was it through a program running through the operating system?
  19. yeah basically a backup in case i unistalled fs and didnt want the hastle of installing ALL of them again
  20. Hey i totally understand ur problem i actually have all the airliner/cargo/GA packages from WOAI since their most recent update. No military or ceased airlines though but if u want some help just message me
  21. If your AFCAD file for Canberra is the default, then I would say that it is simply an issue of having too few airline packages installed. Even with the airlines you listed, unless you are at a very busy international airport you will only see a few of the aircraft taxi takeoff or land, as that would closely reflect their real world schedules.
