August 5, 201114 yr Author I should have said that I was looking for one with the glass cockpit. I know that Xtreme Prototypes does a very good steam gauge one but wanted more up to date.Alan MB ASUS P8Z68-V PRO Z68; GPU nVIDIA GTX 570 ; CPU INTEL i7 2600K 3.4; MEMORY MUSHKIN 8GB; ANTEC KUHLER H20 620; WD VELOCIRAPTOR 600GB; WIN7 HOME PREMIUM 64BIT, SAMSUNG 34" 1080P TRACKiR 5 PRO FSX with SP1 and SP2; ORBX PF, PNW, NRM, CRM, AUS (BLUE, GOLD, GREEN, & RED, SP4), YBCS, YBBN
August 5, 201114 yr I use the FSX Learjet 45 with this panel add-on http://www.friendlypanels.com/htm/lear.htm
August 5, 201114 yr The Xtreme Prototypes 20 Series Package is just about the only other quality Learjet addon out there, I'm afraid, though it is quite a doozie. I love it. I only wish they actually built their own Lear 45, too, but the steam gauges on their 20 Series is wonderfully done. Unfortunately, the default Lear 45 in FSX doesn't get a lot of love from the community, and apparently didn't get a lot of love from Aces either, which is a shame because the Lear has tons of potential in the sim, considering how unfinished it is in it's default state. The plane, though obviously improved from FS9, was clearly not finished for FSX. I used to use the Friendly Panel for the Lear but after a while the airspeed and altitude tapes on the PFD stopped functioning. Could never figure out why, and this bug rendered the Friendly Panel virtually useless, so I uninstalled it and looked for alternatives. The Learjet Enhancement download is considered one of the best downloads for the Learjet (learjet_45_enhancements.zip, in AVSIM). It makes multiple corrections to the PFD, adds a map display and throttle position indicators to the EICAS, and corrects the Lear's lighting issues (beacon, strobes, and belly landing lights). Also, that annoying Mach hold bug is fixed and stays put, no longer changing as you gain altitude.

September 7, 201114 yr Xtreme's 20 Series is a quality simulation, you'll love it. Bit short-ranged, as the real one is, but it's a cracker. Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
