Spontaneous Full Tanks

Featured Replies

Has anyone else out there experienced the following problem in FS9:-After preparing your flight plan and determining the amountof fuel you'll need, you fill your tanks accordingly (withno more and no less than the amount required)-After being cleared for takeoff, and crossing the hold line, your tanks spontaneously go to full.-If you remember to watch for it before you takeoff, you have togo into the aircraft settings and reset the fuel quantity all over again:-grr -If you don't remember, you end up using most or all of the runway(if you don't go off the end) before you're able to rotate andget your plane off the ground. This happened to me in FS2002, and has happened to me in FS9 ata few of the airports I've visited. I don't know if it's my planeor another FS9 bug. Does anyone know?

I noticed this for the first time today. I flew from Naples FL to the Bahamas using Eaglesofts Beechjet 400A. I used almost the whole runway to get in the air on takeoff, checked the tanks and noticed that they were all 100% full.

This only happens to me, when I taxi to close to the GA gas station on the airfield. The FS will then automatically fill your tanks to 100%.Have Fun James
