August 5, 201114 yr Good evening, flabbergasted by the amazingness of your Exterior, VC, Avionics and Sounds i just had one problem... After setting up the entire cockpit for a takeoff from KPAE, I advanced N1 to 40% and then pressed my configured button for TO/GA (Ctrl + G) as it was by default. Nothing happened. F/D was on, A/T armed and everything set up as it needs to in a 737. But the throttles weren't advancing automatically. Now do I have to press the N1 button on the MCP as well? Or am I missing something? Regards, Regards, Harm Swinkels
August 5, 201114 yr Were both F/D's (Capt. + F/O) on?? Both F/D's must be active in order to engage TOGA. Adam EDIT: Also...try just hitting the N1 button. I think that is the actual way to engage T/O thrust. Adam Hill
August 5, 201114 yr You need to have BOTH Flight Director switches on. Look over at the FO's FD switch, and if it's not also up, then the TO/GA switch will not work. August 5, 201114 yr Author Of course. I noticed that VNAV and LNAV didn't arm because I had the FO's F/D not active. After activating it LNAV and VNAV were arming and capturing. Stupid that I didn't think earlier that that also would affect the TO/GA. Thanks for the reminder boys! Regards, Harm Swinkels
August 5, 201114 yr Was I correct in thinking that N1 is pressed to engage T/O thrust?? Or is it TOGA only that initiates T/O thrust? I've confused myself now.... Adam EDIT (Again): Nevermind...I found it in the tutorial flight. Adam Hill
August 5, 201114 yr Adam, Press the TO/GA switch to initiate takeoff thrust. Best Regards, Kurt "Yoda" Kalbfleisch Pinner, Middx, UK Beta tester for PMDG J41, NGX, and GFO, Flight1 Super King Air B200, Flight1 Cessna Citation Mustang, Flight1 Cessna 182, Flight1 Cessna 177B, Aeroworx B200
