I reset my startup state to be Cold and Dark, then decided to try the Tutorial again. The only start up options are CLDDRK, LONG and SHORT. Page 47 of the Introduction Manual says there is a 'Ready For Takeoff' option, which I will need to restart the tutorial but its not available ?? Glen

Possible it didn't get included on accident. You can delete the startup state (Just delete like you would any other line in the FMC), and then it should go back to having the engines running and everything setup the way you're wanting when you start the plane.
