August 6, 201114 yr Several of us are experiencing degraded FPS performance with this add-on, so through trial and error I have done the following: http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html allow this utility to recommend changes to your fsx.cfg. Real simple, and it provides you with a modded copy as well as a backup copy of your current fsx.cfg file. Then: download the FPS limiter that has a link along with the fsx.cfg recommendations. Make sure you have java installed and use it. Then you may have to sacrifice a little autogen scenery and reduce your cloud draw distance. I have found that a steady 30fps is very sufficient for FSX, and that users reporting anything above 60FPS are not actually seeing that because almost all LCD's have a refresh rate of 60Hz max (60 FPS). I went from 12-20 max to a smooth 27-32FPS which is enough for me to enjoy this aircraft. If you use Flytampa airports like me you will obviously have reduced FPS. To get this working smooth just takes a bit more sophisticated and patient .cfg modding and ingenuity. David J. August 6, 201114 yr I found the link to this in the Intro manual, but it appears to not be working? I get an error upon submission. I'm assuming it's been hammered for the past 24 hours. :)
