December 25, 200322 yr The KRDG / MAAM scenery is everything you said it would be. Detail, landclass, traffic, animation - you didn't miss a thing. Even a pagoda. Thanks for the present.Merry XmasLarry
December 26, 200322 yr I would also like to say thank you. The KRDG / MAAM scenery is probably the nicest I have and it was free. I need to learn how to do some of this kind of stuff. I would love to contribute as you have done. Thanks for the great gift you gave to the sim community with this release. It is truely awesome!!Ron
December 26, 200322 yr Bill,Very nice! I live in Allentown so I'm pretty familiar with the field and the area. The first thing I did with the new scenery was fly up to the ridge and check out the Pagoda.:) Oh...and the airport looks good too.:) Thank you for this great piece of freeware.John
December 26, 200322 yr I, too, live in Allentown, and I would love to have some talented designer do a detailed KABE. KABE is growing and being used heavily. Many fly out of this airport instead of KEWR or KPHL.If you're listening, and have the inclination....please consider it. Stan
December 26, 200322 yr Thanks for the kind words guys... I'll have to talk to Bill, we do have something in the works though. :D:-jumpyCheck out my work: http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...Weik&CatID=Roothttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg------------------Kenneth WeikTWVA395 / [email protected]
December 26, 200322 yr Thanks, Stan. I'd consider it, but there are just soooo many interesting airports to do, and so little time! I think for the immediate future I'm going to concentrate on updating my other existing FS2002 scenery for FS2004, and perhaps doing an airport that's a little closer to my home in Portland, Oregon. But I'm sure I'll return to the Mid Atlantic area at some point for more. By the way, I'm kicking myself for not mentioning this in the readme file for KRDG, but I've found that Phil Cruikshank's PA 30m terrain mesh is a dynamite companion for this scenery. The pagoda looks much, much better sitting atop his version of Mt. Penn for sure. So if you havent' tried it yet, I'd heartily recommend it.thanks,
December 26, 200322 yr Heh John, the first thing I did was check out the Pagoda as well! KRDG is my default starting airport, so this was very welcome for me. I can't believe how accurate it is, job very well done. I'm also local to Reading.
