August 7, 201114 yr First, thanks to the development team for creating this work of art. I have been a flight simmer since the very beginning and it is thrilling to see what they have achieved. A new standard has been set. Lesson 1. Read the introduction but if you don't have a high-end system don't push the FSX settings to high. (I did) Lesson 2. Re-calibrate your controllers. (My aircraft wanted to jump out of park, taxied to fast and didn't want to brake.) Lesson 3. Know where the TO/GA touch area is. (I touched it by accident while programming the FMC and went through a fire drill getting everything back under control.) Lesson 4. Know what your external weather engine has planned for you. (After reading the intro. I couldn't wait any longer so I loaded some fuel and took off VFR from the Boeing Plant heading to Comox B.C. My weather engine gave me a low ceiling and thunderstorms. I flew the 737 like a bush plane, keeping it under 200' all the way but got it down in one piece.) Lesson 5. This is a very slippery aircraft. (I have been flying the MD-11 and this plane is a challenge to slow down. Give it some time and distance.) Now if someone will explain how to view all the panels without TrackIR I will be a happy arm chair pilot.
