August 7, 201114 yr An issue with the PMDG 737 NGX - after leaving cruise the wind isn't updated, even during final approach and landing, which can leave a stiff wind on landing! Problem initially noted running Active Sky Evolution. Attempting to "reset" the weather by forcing "Clear Skies" from the FSX menu changes the pressure (QNH) but does not affect the wind! System is Win 7 64-bit, 4GB RAM, FSX Acceleration/SP2.
August 7, 201114 yr Did you manage to solve the problem?.. because the same thing happens to me with Active Sky Evolution. The wind was 50kts on the ground at Frankfurt this afternoon, which made for a very interesting landing! Regards,Richard Avery
August 7, 201114 yr Author Unfortunately not - I'll try again without ASE but my system is down for a reinstall at the moment so it'll be a while before I can fly again. Anybody else experiencing this problem?
August 7, 201114 yr I have the same problem! But it only occured during a fairly long flight, over 3 hours, i have done quite a few shorter flights without problems, i too use aS evolution... Niklas Eriksson
