TrackIR working in software but not in game

Featured Replies

Hello,Just yesterday my TrackIR5 stopped working in MS Flight Simulator X. The camera and clip are still working as I can see in the TrackIR software but there is just no head movement in FSX.Any suggestions as to what may be stopping it? I've tried a reinstall of the software but nothing.Thanks.

Did you try exiting and re-starting TrackIR? Works for me... Cheers, - jahman.

Yeah tried that. Also tried starting FSX first then TrackIR and vice versa.

It's working now, bizarre!

Are you using EZCA?

Paul, I did have it installed at one point but not when TrackIR wasn't working. Maybe it was still conflicting somehow.

Just make sure that the \Program Files(x86)\Natural Point\TrackIR4 (or 5)\simconnect.manifest and simconnectSP2.manifest are/were renamed correctly when you stopped using EZCA.. EZCA requires you to add a "1" to the end of "manifest" so that EZCA has control, not the TIR software.
