Newbie Help Please

I just downloaded and installed Linda. In my set-up I use Opencockpits interface cards for my switches and send the data to FSUIPC as Virtual Joystick input. So how can I set up LINDA when it doesn't 'see' my virtual joystick inputs? I also noticed that the new PMDG NGX is not shown in the assignments window inside FSUIPC but Ifly737 and lvld767 are now there after installing LINDA. PMDG NGX is in the LINDA folder under aircrafts. Any help is appreciated as want to interface my cockpit with the new NGX Thank!Rob

Rob, I think those "virtual joysticks" are exist only inside the FSUIPC "brains". And LINDA operates only with those HID devices that visible and accessible for operating system. If you don't see them in your Windows' Game Controllers control panel, then LINDA will not be able to work with them. Sorry.

Ok, that I do understand and was afraid of. Is there a way to get them in the selection menu of FSUIPC? I noticed that the other aircraft are in there but not the NGX. Thanks,Rob

With-in FSUIPC button assignments tab, when i click on the controls to be set when button pushed, you know the drop down selection? I don't see any NGX choices. I do see IFLY737 and LevelD767 and others. These were not there before installing LINDA. So I thought since they were now there that the NGX available assingments would also be there. Sorry if I don't make sense.Rob

You do see the iFly/LDL767 actions beacause FSUIPC reads them from the _macros_ files available for them. It's just a rare case of LINDA modules based on mouse-macros. Normaly LINDA modules are based on more advanced approach, but there are no actions visible in FSUIPC then. NGX module is NOT macros-based, so you will not see it's actions there.
