Have noticed especially in virtual cockpit mode if I use the hat switch on my X52 Pro to zoom in and out the Autopilot disconnects itself. If you use the keyboard to zoom this does not happen.

It's possible you're unconsciously providing some deflection on the stick. Manual input on the flight controls would disconnect the AP
