NGX and FS flightplans..

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I am afraid I already know to answer to this - but is there any way to load FS flightplans into the FMC, likewith the MD-11?Not so fond of payware planners really, and putting all in manually gets tiresome.. :) Regards, PS: PMDG-guys... Abseloutely awesome product, much more than I was expecting! Well worth mymoney :) There is abseloutely no one out there who can match your professionalism in makingproducts that resemble the real thing! Big thanks from Norway. Keep up the good work!

Try www.simroutes.com - free, and lets you download your fp as a PMDG .rte plan you can pull into your NGX.

Anyone now if the FSCaptain flight plans will work with NGX? (It is free) It is really much easier to make a flight plan with FSC than with the NGX FMC, especially when one does not have the SIDS, STARS, arrival and airport charts available. Yesterday I tried to program a go-around flight on the same airport with NGX, and my flight plan ended up looking like a pretzel - needless to say, the co-pilot threw me out the window... Henri

Thank you paul, will try that out :)

To answer my own question, FSCaptain (free) flight plans can be imported into NGX, as long as you clicked on the PMDG box when saving. If not, load it into FSC and save it again in the PMDG format. Henri
