Why do you think a separate Ethernet card (Bandwidth 1 GBit/Sec these days, that's 100 MByte/Sec) would help with GameSpy disconnects? Is it timeouts due to lack of Internet bandwidth? Cheers, - jahman.

Use any other lobby except the default and your problems should be minimized

Well my thinking is if I got a really good card that could compensate for packet loss with maybe a buffer , would it stop being disconnected from gamespy

The speed of the Ethernet card is so much higher than your internet speed it won't make any difference at all, and even if it did, the packet loss or timeouts might be originating somewhere else along the route anyway. Cheers, - jahman.
