August 9, 201114 yr I have been recommending on a number of forums the free program FSC for making PMFG-compatible flight plans, calling it FS Captain. NO, sorry about that, the program I mean is Flight Sim Commander (FSC 9). FS captain is another program that I am not familiar with and although it may be very good, I don't think that it allows to make flight plans. Just google FS Commander to find it. I apologize for the error (too many abbreviations those days...) Henri Henri Arsenault

Indeed it can be used to create flightplans as I do for the NGX,but is has to be copy/pasted from the PMDG flightlans folder.Excellent flightplanner including map following like the now-defunct FS Navigator Rick Almeida
August 9, 201114 yr Author Oops, bad memory, but you are partially right...One can run the program for 30 minutes as often as one wants, but you are right that (IIRC) the flight plans cannot be saved in the freeware version (except by copy/paste as you stated). However the flight plans in the pay version CAN be saved in PMDG format that can be loaded by the NGX FMC, and I have done it. One only needs to tell FSC where the FSX folder is and click on the box that says PDMG when saving (other formats are available too and more than one format can be saved at a time). Once you have saved it in PMDG format, it automatically appears in the list of saved flight plans that the FMC can load. The program is not expensive. henri Henri Arsenault

I already have this flight planner(paid version) and have had it for over a year,so,am more than familiar with it. Rick Almeida
