August 9, 201114 yr ADE Environment Checker, by Martin Gossmann Originally designed to make sure FSX was set up correctly to be able to run ADE correctly, this "Environment Checker" program does a number of Diagnosics test on your FSX installation, and reports, in a easy to read screem, and errors it finds, and what Versions of various software you have correctly loaded to support FSX. http://www.interkultur.de/gossmann/fsx/pfn/accion.php?PHPSESSID=2136989e8e1cfd1c39828266b1604b2e&dir=.%2FTools&cal=ADE9X-Environment-Checker-Setup.zip&accion=descargar If you do not have ADE ( Airport Design Editor) installed, it will indicate that as an error, but EVERYTHING else should be OK, and not showing an error. I am not saying this is going to FIX "ALL" your problems, but if it does indicate something is wrong, that MAY BE ONE of your problems, that you can easily see, and fix. Geoff
August 10, 201114 yr Clicking that link brings up a page asking for login details. Andy Lawton Seems so, PHP ID issue. You will need to go to the opening page, and naviage to the download. http://www.interkultur.de/gossmann/fsx/tools.php ADE9X Environment Checker about 1/3 way down
August 10, 201114 yr I'm not sure this is going to be very helpful to people in the NGX forum, but I could be wrong. Maybe I should rephrase that, it came out wrong. What is it that it can diagnose? ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
August 10, 201114 yr ZachLW Did you even LOOK at it. If so, I am surprise you would say that. Random NGX users are having random Issue with FSX ( and the 737) Checking to see if there is a basic error in one's FSX install, would seem to be a good move to help get everyone on a more level playing field (runway ?) Lots of things can get messed up with FSX, resulting is all sorts of issues. ADE Environment Checker will check your FSX environment, for know errors and ommissions. ie Version of MSXML, what SimConnect Versions you have installed, what versions of .net, your FSX Path in the registry, and the "Trailing slash issue), etc etc... These are all things that COULD stop ADE from working -- equally some are things that could stop other FSX addons installing correctly or working. Geoff
August 10, 201114 yr I did. But I typically ask questions when I don't understand the subject matter. Thanks for the explanation. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
