Graphical "problem"...

Featured Replies

Hi,this "problem" is annoying me quite a lot -.-....This is it:When I go and put my visual "along" the wing, where there are supposed to be continuos lines, I have very small lines...something like "stairs" that form that line Straight Face.gif ...I have my Aircraft settings nearly on high ( the only thing that I don't have on is the " Aircraft casts shadows on itself"....I have anti-aliasing on...and it's surely not a hardware problem...as my CPU and GPU are practically new!Can anyone help?

A picture of your problem would help. However, what you describe sounds exactly like aliasing. Also what screen resolution are you running at?

Ok here are two pictures:one is about my settings, the other of the actual problem....Sorry for the Italian! ;D

Have you tried using Nvidia Inspector to enable 8xS or 16xS Anti-Aliasing (your system can probably handle 16xS), as well as to clamp negative LOD bias? I found this did wonders for the visual quality of FSX. http://www.simforums...topic36586.html(there's a newer version of Inspector available now, but the procedure is the same) Also, looking at your pics, you seem to be using a very low resolution and 16-bit color mode, not good. You should run at 32-bit and at the native resolution of your monitor.
