August 15, 201114 yr I am confussed. You say you have the i5 2500k and its on a 1156 socket. If so spend your money on the GPU. if you have a $200 CPU with a $80 GPU you are gonna bottleneck. Check out Linus Tech Tips, he does a good videos about bottlenecking. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society.
